Before sending money to Australia, please make sure that you have confirmed the Bank State Branch (BSB) code with your recipient as your transaction might be sent to the wrong recipient if the BSB code is incorrect.
BSB is a 6 digits number that consists of Bank, State, and Branch numbers in Australia. To send money to/from an Australian bank account, you’ll need a BSB code. You can see the format of the BSB code below:
Where can my recipient search his/her BSB code?
You can simply ask your recipient to search the BSB code on the bank’s website or on the account statement. Your recipient can also call the branch to make sure that the BSB code is correct.
