# Why is my Local Transfer transaction delayed?

There are some reasons why your transaction is delayed:
* The recipient’s bank is still processing the money.
* The transaction was made outside banking hours.
* The recipient’s bank account is invalid.
* The transaction may need verification or compliance checks.
