# Things to note before sending money to ShopeePay Malaysia

Before sending money to a ShopeePay Malaysia, please make sure that:
* **The recipient's ShopeePay number is valid**, **which usually consists of 14 digits but may vary (example: 12345678901234).**
* **The recipient has linked their ShopeePay to DuitNow ID using the same phone number registered with ShopeePay.** [See how can the recipient link their ShopeePay number to DuitNow](#1-how-can-the-recipient-link-their-shopeepay-number-to-duitnow).
* **The recipient has enough available limits to receive the transaction**.
Each ShopeePay account has different transaction and wallet limits based on the account tiers. Refer to the tables below for the applicable limits.

ShopeePay limits per wallet tier.

| Annual Transaction Limit | MYR 59,999 | MYR 59,999 | MYR 360,000 |

If the recipient has reached their transaction or wallet limit, the transfer may be delayed or rejected. You may send the money again after the recipient's limit resets. # **How can the recipient link their ShopeePay number to DuitNow?**
The recipient needs to link their ShopeePay number to DuitNow via ShopeePay app. See how to link it below.

1. Go to ShopeePay “**Settings**”

2. Select “**DuitNow**”

3. Tick the Terms and Conditions & select “**Link DuitNow to ShopeePay”**

4. Enter the verification code that was sent to the registered phone number

5. DuitNow ID successfully linked
