# Is it safe to send money online with?

Of course! Topremit is licensed by Bank Indonesia as a Money Transfer Provider ([11/11/MDN/1](https://www.bi.go.id/id/qrcode/validate.aspx?tipe=PTD&id=0010.001/0001))
              
As a financially regulated company, we need to ensure that we know the identity of our customers, including the source of the funds they pay with. Thus, we need the funds to come from your own bank account.
