Can I send more than the stated amount in a day?

Yes, you can send more than the transaction limit stated above by providing relevant supporting documents and following the provided regulations:

For CNY:

Bank Transfer (Normal Speed)

Recipients can receive up to CNY 1,000,000/year.

Alipay

For transaction with family living expense, savings/send to self, and payroll/salaries purposes, your recipient can only receive max. 15 times/month (this limit is cumulative for those purposes and not limited to transactions made via Topremit).

WeChat Pay

You can only send to 4 recipients/year and the transaction limit is set based on your recipient’s residence country. Check the complete WeChat Pay transaction rules and limits here.

UnionPay

You can send up to CNY 70,000/day. - Recipients can receive up to CNY 355,000/year.



Are there any requirements to send money to China?

For CNY:

  • If you use Bank Transfer (Normal Speed), the recipient's full name registered in bank account must be in Chinese characters (example: 李小龙).
  • If you use Alipay, WeChat Pay, or UnionPay, the recipient's full name registered in bank account must be in alphabet letters (example: Li Xiao Long).
  • We only support sending to C2C, C2B, B2B, B2C.
    • Transactions are only allowed for the following purposes:
      • Purchase of goods, shipping fee, travel fee, IT services, and management consulting services are available for C2BB2B, and B2C transactions.
      • Education or tuition fee is available for C2B and B2B transactions.
      • Payroll is available for B2C transactions.

  • Money will be received without cents.


For USD:

  • If you use Bank Transfer (Normal Speed), the recipient's full name registered in bank account must be in alphabet letters (example: Li Xiao Long).
  • If you use SWIFT, the recipient's full name registered in bank account must be in alphabet letters, including numbers if any (example: VentureTech 365 Ltd).
  • If you use SWIFT, some recipient banks might charge a fee which will deduct the amount received.
